I love forests and were long due a trip so we went to Dalby forest in Yorkshire. The mist fell as we arrived and got this beautiful eerie image that reminded us of the forbidden forest in Harry Potter!

A light bulb lit magically without electricity. Should objects be allowed to act on their own ? Or only us humans should wire bulbs, toggle switches and use them as we please ? Do we feel threatened by an object that defies us ? A bulb that lights during our absence because it does not want to live in the dark or for its own amusement ? A free spirit that does not need our electricity and the wire that keeps it our prisoner ? Are we talking consciousness here or are we talking master and servant ? If the object acted on its own will, would YOU allow it to ? Could YOU be happy that it does ?
